The theme of this year's World Children's Day celebration emphasizes the importance of health throughout the life cycle with the aim of increasing Health Literacy among the community and encouraging people to take action towards a healthy lifestyle for the well-being of children. The World Children's Day celebration was held at a shopping centre in Jalan Utama Salambigar, 23rd November morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The celebration included the launch of official song titled "Cahaya Biru Dunia Kita" by the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Various interactive and educational activities were also held, including educational exhibitions themed on healthy lifestyles and physical activities.
